HEY AWESOME U!

Umara,  from  Sweden,  was founded in 2013 by Biomedicine students Tommy Ivarsson, MSc and Simon Gustavsson, BSc who studied Biomedicine with a focus on nutrition and the body's ability to perform. They are both a couple of really happy athletes with an understanding of sports as they are runners, cyclists, skiers, triathletes, swimrunners etc., multi-sporters we can say.

They  are specialists in nutrition/energy for endurance sports. Using science, athlete experience and their own ability to weave theory with practice, they develop optimized sports nutrition to help you perform at your individual peak. Everyone can get to the next level,  but nutrition is one of many important tools.

Umara係瑞典嘅品牌，於2013年由生物醫學學生Tommy Ivarsson, MSc同Simon Gustavsson, BSc創立。佢哋專攻生物醫學，尤其關注營養同身體運動表現。佢哋係一對非常快樂嘅運動員，熱愛跑步、單車、滑雪、鐵人三項賽、游泳跑等多項運動，可以說係多項運動的運動員。

佢哋係耐力運動營養/能量方面嘅專家。佢哋結合科學知識、運動員經驗同自己將理論與實踐結合嘅能力，開發出優化嘅運動營養產品，助你在個人巔峰狀態下發揮最佳表現。每個人都可以進入下一個層次，但營養只係其中一個重要工具。

Elliot Froidevaux fell in  love  with ultrarunning later  in  his  life, but he has never looked back! Since then, Elliot has completed countless ultras, from  50kms to 300km. With years of experience behind him, in 2022,  Elliot founded  Boa Vista Running Co.  Limited, providing certified UESCA Ultrarunning and Endurance Sports Nutrition Coaching  www.ultra-elliot.run to a growing number of local and overseas athletes.

Elliot understands the importance of hydration and nutrition during training and racing. And until very recently, he too often suffered from GI  distress during his races.

This summer, Elliot discovered UMARA while racing in Sweden at a local 100 Miler (163km). With no GI Distress and no energy bonk during the race, he decided to test it for longer, on an unsupported  150 miler (246km) across Skäne, in the South of Sweden.

With over 64 hours of combined racing, relying  solely  on  UMARA  U  Sport,  U  Gel,  and  U  Bars, (oh  there  was  a  slice  of  pizza  and 2 ice-cream too), with no GI  Distress and energy bonks at all, Elliot followed his gut and immediately reached out to the UMARA  team. 

And we GEL’d  immediately!

1. Agreement to Terms: By placing an order or making a purchase, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

Acceptance can only take place once payment is received, and the seller cannot guarantee availability of stock until which time the order has been fully paid.

5. Shipping and Delivery: Shipping is limited to Hong Kong Local sales. The seller will make reasonable efforts to ensure timely shipping and delivery of products or services (estimated at 2-5 working days for local sales). Shipping costs, estimated delivery times, and any applicable restrictions will be communicated to the customer. The risk of loss or damage to the products shall pass to the customer upon delivery.

6. Returns and Refunds: The seller's return and refund policy will be clearly stated. Customers may be eligible for returns or refunds under certain conditions, such as product defects, damaged items during shipping, or other specified circumstances. The customer may be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

7. Intellectual Property: The seller retains all intellectual property rights to any materials, including but not limited to product designs, logos, trademarks, and copyrighted content. The customer agrees not to reproduce, distribute, or use any such intellectual property without the seller's prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability: The seller shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the purchase or use of products or services. The customer agrees that the seller's liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the products or services.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of Hong Kong, in which the seller operates. Any disputes arising from the sales transaction shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

10. Modifications and Severability: The seller reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Return and Refund policy :

• Terms of return (i.e. number of days - 7 days upon receipt of goods by local courrier)
• State of return (e.g. unworn / unopened / no sign of use on packaging)
• Reason for return (e.g. damaged or wrong product)
